HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE THE ESTATE DIRECTORY?
When working directly with Brenda via Zoom, most people take about 3 weeks to complete each session. If you are working on your own, under the basic program, it depends on you.

DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING PRIOR TO STARTING THE PROGRAM?
Yes, if you are building a physical binder, you will need to purchase a good quality 2-3 inch binder, plastic inserts and index tabs (minimum 1-12).

HOW DO I PAY?
When working with Brenda via Zoom, you will be invoiced at the end of the program. In person sessions, payment is required at the end of the session. You can pay by cheque or e-Transfer. 

HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO UPDATE MY DIRECTORY?
It is not necessary to update the material in your directory on an ongoing basis.  It does not matter that accounts are outdated.  What matters is that the Executor knows that the accounts exist and they can get updated information.  You should update any accounts that you close and/or open, and those types of changes.  Also, if the directory includes two people and one passes, it will have to be updated.

CAN THE PROGRAM BE DONE WITH MORE THAN ONE PERSON/FAMILY?
Yes. Brenda realizes that not everyone can afford her fee and to make it easier, she is willing to work with two individuals from separate families who can split her fee, provided they attend the same Zoom sessions. 

ARE THE PROGRAM OPTIONS REALLY THAT DIFFERENT?
Yes. The in person program does not provide the detail that the concierge program does. The handouts and forms provided are significantly less. Completion of the in person program is based on your self-motivation and commitment to getting it completed.

WHAT DOES THE FOUNDATION CURRENTLY SUPPORT?
The foundation will provide donations to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission and Chalice Canada. Brenda reviews the amount being disbursed and directs the funds to various projects in need. There are no restrictions as to what the funds can be used for, except they have to be registered charities in Canada. If you would like to donate to the foundation, contact Brenda through this website. All donations are voluntary.

WHY IS BRENDA DONATING 100 PERCENT OF HER FEES TO THE FOUNDATION?
In Brenda's words, "it is not about the money for me, it is about helping people. Many people cannot afford my program and I believe that every person should have the opportunity to put things in order for their loved ones. This program takes on average 4 months to complete. If someone is willing to invest their time and are committed to completing this project, then I am willing to work with them to do that. There is nothing more satisfying than congratulating them at the end of the program and hearing how happy they are that they put things in one location for the love of their family. The overwhelming "peace of mind" it provides is worth it! Also, my foundation is extremely important and my goal is to continue to build the foundation so that it will last beyond my lifetime. It is already helping many people and that is the goal!"
